Emerald Dreams: An Intimate Wedding in Lodi, CA
I’m so excited to kick this off by sharing a wedding that meant a lot to me. Set in the beautiful town of Lodi, CA, this day was intimate, fun, and filled with so much love. The couple chose emerald green and black as their colors, which gave everything such a bold and timeless vibe. Their closest family and friends were there, and you could feel how much everyone supported and celebrated them.
The weather couldn’t have been better. Guests enjoyed an open bar and tacos for dinner, which honestly is one of the best combos you could have at a wedding. After their “I do’s,” the couple surprised everyone with shot glasses taped under their seats for a toast. It was such a cool, unique moment that had everyone laughing and celebrating together. One of the highlights for me was the bouquet toss. It was such a fun and energetic moment with everyone gathered around, cheering. And the DJ was on another level. Not only did they keep the dance floor packed, but they played music videos during the reception, which added a really cool vibe to the whole night!
One of my favorite parts of the day, though, was the reception. Watching J + J dance their hearts out together was something special. You could tell they were completely in the moment, letting loose and enjoying every second of their celebration. Capturing moments like that is why I love what I do. I also had the chance to take their engagement photos before the wedding, so being part of their story from the beginning made this day even more meaningful.
Starting this blog with this wedding feels right. It’s a reminder of why I love capturing these moments and the stories behind them. Thanks for being here, I can’t wait to share more with you.
